Pokémon watching; mountain dragonflies

Following the release of the PokemonGo app, we decided to use our passion for this franchise to paint our interpretation of the game. The idea of transporting a part of our childhood into the real world was a great starting point. Every child who has adored, as we did, these colorful monsters, cannot help but recognize in these images one of his dreams, perhaps dormant ... that of seeing his fellow adventurers in real life.

A naturalistic photograph, but of a nature that does not exist.

As for the technical part: the photo is on fuji film and the pokémon is made with white ink, watercolor and markers. In the video instead you can see our animated alter egos made in pixel art and some animations painted in watercolor.
