The memories of Verona’s past residents return to places that have long since been abandoned. In the hope of seeing life return to certain areas of our city, we use the magic of analog photography and the paintbrush to create a parallel present in which the past has never ceased to exist.

Evanescent figures made of memories pass through disused underground tunnels; pairs of ghosts emerge from a long-closed movie theater; a transparent elderly woman buys equally ephemeral fruit in a market devoid of any food.
